On day two, visitors look at one of the lifesize busts I am starting to make as an ellement for the larger sculpture.

Sometimes it can be a bit tough... you have to concentrate on your work but you are also aware that people want to understand, interact, etc. This is both fun and a natural part of the process of a sculpture symposium held in a public space - and also at times a bit distracting! Often reporters come around, interview you and take photographs.

I found the people of Yunnan province to be very friendly, and very interested in our works in progress.
